Church Notes: 13thC church re-built 18th and 19thC
There are two entries for North Kelsey [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TA0401/north-kelsey/] [accessed 31 December 2018] neither of which mentions cleric or church in it. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TA0444601536] notes: "Parish Church; C13, C18, all church except tower rebuilt in c.1860 [...] It is possible that the church was partly rebuilt with stone from the demolished Church of St. Nicholas at South Kelsey and hence the confusion over the dedication." The present font is modern.
