Baptismal font that may or, more likely, may not have been together originally; the basin is roughly hemispherical, 'roughly' being the operative word as it is very irregular; it also shows evidence of damage and repairs; broad roll moulding at the upper rim, with a row round arche-heads below; the underbowl is decorated with a pttern of concave ribs with inserts; although the font is rather a crude work the concave ribbing with inserts suggests a later date than its overall appearance; raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base of a different kind of stone. The inner well has been altered, creating an internal division at a later date, when the fashion of a divided basin was adopted after the French practice. Plain and flat wooden cover; modern.
