The baptismal font in the medieval church at Tene consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated on its front side with a Maltese cross and a short row of ribs below; the rest of the basin appears uncarved; right above the cross, at the upper rim is a large motch cut out of the stone, probably for the insertion of a lock for an earlier cover; the upper rim of the basin appears to have been damaged, some of it repaired; the pedestal base is irregular and it has an also irregular, roughly quadrangular, lower base. The present cover is flat and plain, and it is hinged to a plank attached to the back wall; modern.
