No individual entry found for Uppermill in the Domesday survey. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SE0075706405] notes: "Rebuilt 1831-33, tower rebuilt 1846-7 but incorporating 1746 fabric. [...] This church of the early Gothic revival has a fine C19 interior complete with galleries and elaborate fittings and glass." Harman & Pevsner (2017) do not mention the font but note a "huge, inticate font cover by George Shaw, c. 1872." [NB: we have no information on the font of the early-13th century church here].
