Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales (1870-1872) reported "an octagonal panelled font" in this church. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TF2661017964] notes: "Parish church. c.1380, tower built and nave extended 1480-86, restored 1882 [...] Unusual tall octagonal font with splayed bowl and traceried stem."
