There is an entry for Armthorpe [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SE6204/armthorpe/] [accessed 24 September 2018] but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. The entry for this church in the CRSBI [www.crsbi.ac.uk/site/2759/] [accessed 24 September 2018] mentions the nave of the Norman period but no font in it. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here]
