The old village is located under the bridge (according to a local lady, the old chemist’s is directly below the seventh pillar of the bridge, probably counting from the left bank). [NB: we have no information on the font of this moved church; the church was formerly the Iglesia de San Martín at Pedrosa del Rey, a village flooded in the dam that buried also the village of La Puerta, which was originally the location of the second church in this town, Nuestra Señora del Rosario]. [NB: there seems to be another 'Pedrosa del Rey' in the provinvce of Valladolid, with a church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel].
