The Musique Orgue Quebec site [www.musiqueorguequebec.ca/orgues/pbas/alkmaarsl.html] [accessed 20 August 2018] reports the cover of the baptismal font ["la clôture autour des fonts baptismaux"] as being of 1605. The present font, octagonal and of marble, bears the date of 1871, when it was donated to the church [NB: we have no information on the original font itself].
