The present baptismal font in this church is an awkwardly put-together object; the basin is roughly hemispherical but tall for its shape; it has a moulded upper rim that is damaged at several spots, and retains an old metal staple from an earlier font cover; the lower two thirds are decorated with a deep ribbed pattern; it is probably of late-medieval date; the base is a quadrangular pillar that appears to have been re-cycled from other uses; it is moulded atop and has rectangular panels on the sides; the plinth is round and totally out of proportions for the size of the font.
