Church Notes: disappeared original wooden church may be accounted for in the Gutasaga; present church built late-12th - early-13thC; modified late-19thC; restored 1950s at which time interior frescoes discovered

Baptismal font of stone, probably of the 17th century, of the baluster-shape type common on the island; it shows traces of paint on it. The square plinth is probably what is often referred to in some sources as the 12th-century base ["fot"] of the medieval font [cf. Index entry for Fardhem No. 1 for the fragment of the medieval font here]
