There are two entries for this Street [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SO4260/street/] [accessed 9 May 2018]; one of the two parts, in the lordship of King Edward's pigman in 1066, reports a church in it. The location appears to have been about half-way between Shirl Heath and the A4110 (SE), and Shobdon (NW), but we have been unable ot locate the site of the disappeared village, other than a mention of a 'Street Farm' somewhere in the area. [NB: we have no information on either the disappeared church or the font in it].
