Font Notes:
Baptismal font of granite consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a series of torus-scotia comonitation around the upper side, otherwise plain; there are two old metal staples still in the upper rim; raised on a short octagonal-to-square pedestal base. It appears to rest directly on the ground, There are two pieces of old wood resting on to of the font; they may have belonged to a font cover. [NB: although the font may be medieval it is doubtfull that it is the original font of the 12th-century church here, and rather be part of one of the later-medieval modfications].
