Ramón Escobar Hervás' Maravillas Ocultas de España [http://maravillasdeespana.blogspot.ca/2017/09/monasterios-de-pontevedrasta-m-de.html] [accessed 4 May 2018], notes and illustrates three objects in this church: a baptismal font and two holy-water stoups, the stoups being composite objects of materials from the original disappeared cloister of the 12th-century monastery. Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin mounted on a plain rounded base; the basin has two roll moudlings, one at the upper rim, another a few inches below; between the two is a number of motifs and/or symbols (floral, foliage, wheel or rosette, etc.); foliage motifs on the underbowl; the upper rima area shows damage probably related to former anchorings and a cover lock. The two blocks, basin and base appear unmatched. The present cover is round, flat and plain, hinged in the middle; appears modern.
