Baptismal font of bronze consisting of a roughly-cyulindrical cauldron-shaped basin raised on three clawed leg supports; the basin has thre thin parallel mouldings on the upper basin side, with added loops for the anchoring of the original font cover; a double moulding around the centre of the sides; between the two sets of mouldings are several stylised symbols, including a 8-point star (?) and a potent cross; the legs of the base are striated with claw ends. The present cover is a tall and fancier variation of the basic scroll-ribs-on-a-platform design with a turned finial; painted and gilded.
