The font consists of a roughly bucket-shaped basin raised on four standing figures, and mounted on a polygonal wooden plinth on casters obviously of a later period; the basin, which partly glided, is decorated with several thin mouldings; one set frames the running inscription around the upper side of the basin, another set frames the lower side inscription, and a sigle moulding runs around the middle linking with a medallion-like motif, also gilded; there is a shild with a cota of arms at the beginning of the inscription; four standing figures support the basin on their shoulders; the four are very similar, dressed in the same long robes, and have their arms in identical position. There is no cover present. [NB: there is a modern stone font in this church which appears to be the font in use -- cf. ImagesArea]
