Baptismal font of bronze donated by Degenhard Ree in 1427; it consists of an octagonal basin raised on a central round pedestal [is this a later addition for reinforcement?] and four outer lions holding shields at 90-degre angles; the eight panels, which are separated by Gothic buttresses, are decorated with scenes: Christ in Majesty, Mary, John the Baptist, the Apostles John and Peter, St. Alexander the patron saint of the church, his mother, St. Felicitas and St. Thomas (with the donor of the font kneeling by and the year 1427); an inscription containing verses 9-10 of Psalm 51.
