Baptismal font dated to 1698 by an inscription on the back of the lower base; listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67013172]: "Fonts en grès avec un pied de plan carré, aux angles abattus, supportant une cuve ovale. Couvercle ovale fortement galbé, composé de languettes de sapin assemblées [...] Date (1698) sur l'actuelle face postérieure du pied." The Palissy entry [cf. supra] identifies the material of the font as sandstone [grès] but the illustrations available make it appear to be of two kinds of marble.
