Scene Description: one of several frescoes inside the church -- this one is listed in Palissy [ref.: IM68004145]: "Ensemble de deux peintures murales représentant des membres de la famille de Pfaffenheim dont certains furent ministériels de l'évêque de Strasbourg, et résidèrent à Soultz au début du 14e siècle ; Pierre de Pfaffenheim, sans doute représenté sur son lit mortuaire sur l'enfeu sud, est mort en 1308 environ, date possible de ces oeuvres ; elles furent découvertes en 1970, et restaurées par L. Wiederkehr de Soultz."

Two baptismal fonts reported in this church: 1)listed in Palissy [ref.: IM68004121] a 19th-century pink sandstone font consisting of an octagonal basin raised on four colonnettes; topped with an oak cover; 2)listed in Palissy [ref,: IM68004120]: monolithic octagonal baptismal font of yellowish sandstone, dated 1656 by an inscription in the upper rim; the foot and cover are now missing.
