Listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67000603] as a baptismal font, probably of limestone, dated by an inscription to 1678: "fonts baptismaux [calcaire (?)] plan (hexagonal) [...] ornementation (feuille) symbole (colombe : Saint-Esprit) [...] Fût hexagonal sur base carrée. Couvercle en cuivre [...] 1678 [...] mauvais état". The date is carved on one of the sides of the basin the forst two digits on the left of the arch, the last two digits on the right of the arch. The Holy-Ghost symbol mentioned in the Palissy entry above is actually on the finial of the modern font cover, inscribed in a circle.
