Baptismal font of sandstone probably of the 17th century; moved from the rectory (?) garden into the church; listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67000197]: "fonts baptismaux [grès] octogonal [...] déplacement: 67, Geispolsheim, presbytère, jardin [...] 17e siècle (?) [...] mauvais état". The present font in use in this church is modern said to be the work of Klem of 1899; it has a hemispherical basin with pronounced patterned upper rim moulding, cherubs and foliage on the sides and underbowl; gadrooned centre ring; base round at the top, four animal heads and four scrolled vegetal buttresses on the sides to an octagonal lower base. Richly decorated wooden cover with four scroll ribs climbing up the sides, vessel on a gadrooned base atop with Latin-cross finial; presumably of the same period as the modern font.
