Church Notes: present 18thC church listed in Mérimée [ref.: IA67005517]: "L'église de Dingsheim date de 1805, ainsi qu'en témoigne la date inscrite sur la façade antérieure. Sur le mur du chevet est gravée la date de 1857. D'après l'inscription sur le mur ouest, l'édifice a été restauré en 1939."
Baptismal font dated 1625 in this church; listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67009469]: "Cuve et pied en grès. Couvercle en bois peint. [...] La date de 1625 est gravée sur la cuve. Le pied semble plus récent." The basin is tub-shaped, and raised on a conical pedestal base of perhaps later date [cf. supra]; a crudely made font.
