Font Notes:
The baptismal font in the Catholic area of this church [NB: the church had been set to be used by both faiths [aka simultaneum]] consists of a polygonal basin decorated with at least one scene, a Cricifixion, an Agnus Dei and a floral motif, inside pointed arches with trefoiled inserts;buttresses at the corners; the lower half of the basin is much eroded, while the upper has retained most of the carving details; the graded pattern on the underbowl is also very worn; the octagonal pedestal base, also very eroded, has a trefoiled arch on each side, some of which may have had figures or scenes in them; broad moulding at the lower end of the stem. Low-dome metal [brass?] cover with ball finial/handle; appears modern.
