Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin decorated with deeply-carved trefoiled arch-heads, a round underbowl decorated with eight floral motifs, raised on a central support with four outer colonnettes provided with capitals and bases; on an octagonal plinth. Two font covers present: 1)a tall metal cover above the font, hifly ornamented and bearing inscription; it has no functional use as it cannot be fitted to the font; 2)a flat metal octagonal lid with moulded edges and metal handle. A dedication plaque at the foot of the font identifies the font as a gift in memory of the Cartwright family (John, Emily, John, Stephen and Ralph).
