Noted and illustrated in Danmarks Kirker [www.danmarks-kirker.dk/helsingor/flong_hel.htm] [accessed 22 December 2017]. The font consists of a round slightly tapering basin of reddish granite decorated with a single rope moulding at the upper rim; round splaying base of a lighter-coloured granite, and probably a later replacement of the original base, decorated with a roll moulding atop. No cover present [the wooden cover referred to above no longer used on the font; mid-18th century metal baptismal dish now in use.
