The present font is modern, probably 18th- or 19th-century; it consists of an oval basin withinternal double bowl division, raised on a square baluster-shaped pedestal base. Dome-shaped metal cover with orb-and-cross finial. It is located towards the west end of the nave, north side, opposite the south entranceway. There is a holy-water stoup across the aisle from the font; it is of the same style and period. Palissy [ref.: IM72000013] lists and illustrates a group of a font and three stoups in this church: "ensemble des fonts baptismaux et de trois bénitiers [...] Fonts baptismaux et bénitier sur pied donnés vers 1785 par Marin Cousin, _sacriste vicaire à Asnières-sur-Vègre" [NB: two of the stoups are wall-mounted]. [NB: we have no information on the baptismal font of the medieval church here].
