Much damaged Bentheimer-type font now being used as holy-water stoup in this church; it belongs to the tyoe with a running arcade of round arches between rope mouldings all around the basin; the upper base has four (?) window motifs at 90-degree angles; there appears to be some motif incised inside the windows; between the windows there are parallel mouldings on the sides, some of them rope mouldings; circular lower base with some concave circles on it. No font cover, but a metal dish atop it. Local sources indicate that the former font is now used as holy-water stoup. The present font in use is modern of neo-Gothic design; the octagonal basin has vertical sides with Ogee motifs on them (trefoils, quatrefoils, etc.) below a pronounced moulding and row of mini-rosettes; base consists of eight open trefoiled arches on coloured marble colonnettes all around, a central octagonal shaft in the centre; octagonal lower base; all very late-Victorian.
