Font Notes:
The basin of the old baptismal font of this church is noted and illustrated in KIK-IRPA [ref.: 10002162] [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10002162] [accessed 10 September 2017], with date in the last quarter of the 12th century. A later replacement font of the 18th century is also noted and illustrated in KIK-IRPA [ref.: 10002167] [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10002167] [accessed 10 September 2017], consisting of a shallow round basin raised on a round slender pedestal base. In Didier (1965). Salet (1966) notes that the surviving font of the original Romanesque church here had for a long time served as water-trough in a nearby farm until it was returned to the church in 1961; Salet (ibid.) rejects an earlier dating to the 16th century and suggests it be consider part of the Mosan Romanesque production with a date in the late-12th or early-13th century: " De forme circulaire, la cuve, légèrement évasée, est cantonnée de quatre têtes de guerriers saillantes, coiffées de toques plates qui couvrent la nuque en dégageant les oreilles.
