Scene Description: the later church, next to the much-modified 15thC castle -- the Mérimée listing for the church [ref.: IA00019787] notes: "Achèvement de la construction de la nouvelle église paroissiale Notre-Dame et saint Joseph en 1667 ; adjonction d'une sacristie par l'architecte Fleury au début du 3e quart du 19e siècle ; patronage : l'abbaye de saint Ouen à Rouen (76)".
