On-site notes: the present font is made of stone and located in the chancel; it consists of an octagonal basin with continuous scenes carved all around the upper sides; some of the the scenes are conflated (e.g.: a single figure of seated Herod is part of the Massacre of the Innocent directive and the meeting of the three Magi; the tall underbowl has trefoil motif decoration with Tuder-rose like floral motifs in the centre; the base sides below a sharp centre ring moulding has also scenes, apparently humans hunting animals, as one of them appears to be a man hunting a wild boar; perhaps a bear and perhaps a camel; moulded below. No cover present but there probably was one, as the repair inserts to the upper rim suggest; a metal baptismal dish is used to hold water for baptisms.
