Entry 47 of vol. 3 of the Catalogue des livres imprimez de la Bibliothèque du Roy (Paris: Imp. Royale, 1753): p. 306, mentions that the prior of St. Marcel sued the priest ["vicaire"] and the inhabitants of Sauzet for moving the baptismal font from the parish church to the castle chapel. A font similar [?] to this one is said to exist [have existed?] at the Chapelle Saint-Blaise, in Rochefort-en-Valdaine [ancienne chapelle castrale] [cf. Index entry for Rochefort-en-Valdaine].
