Described and illustrated in Tynell (191301921) as a 'Genarpsgruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone standing on a round plinth that has a lower step sunk in the ground. Noted and illustrated in Rydbeck (1936) in her section of palmete fonts. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900715F2] as a 'palmettgruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 raised on a round stepped plinth. The roughly hemispherical basin is decorated with a broad vine of linked palmettes all around, with a rope moulding running below; the lower end of the underbowl has a band of reversed arch-heads all around; round-to-square lower base with knob/spur at the corners; the round plinth is plain. No cover present.
