Tympan du portail principal (XIVe): Couronnement de la Vierge; Vie de St-Florent (1. les chasseurs du roi Dagobert agressent l'ermite St-Florent, St-Florent arrive sur son âne au château du roi Dagobert à Kirchheim (le roi, son épouse et leur fille Rathilde sont représentés chacun à une fenêtre, au sommet d'une tour), la famille royale accueille St-Florent qui accroche son manteau à un rayon de soleil; 2. le roi Dagobert vient de sortir de son bain et de se rhabiller (St-Florent, en tenue de moine, lui donne le gant), le roi et son épouse donnent à St-Florent un modèle d'église, St-Florent place l'église sous la protection de la Vierge à l'Enfant (de la même manière que St-Florent, ce dernier, debout sur les genoux de la Vierge assise soutient le modèle d'église), l'évêque Rachio, suivi de soldats à cheval, donne les reliques de St-Florent, enveloppées dans un sac, à un moine de Haslach."

Chaque face est ornée d'arcatures avec deux arcs brisés dans lesquels s'inscrivent deux lancettes trilobées surmontées d'un trilobe inscrit dans un cercle. Le couvercle, en bronze a la forme d'un cône et est sommé d'une colombe [...] Sur quatre des faces du couvercle se trouvent les symboles zoomorphes des quatre évangélistes. Un décor de feuilles de lierre orne le reste des quatre faces [...] oeuvre restaurée [...] Le socle a été refait [...] Inscription en relief sur le couvercle : +EGO TE/BAPTIZO/IN NOMINE/PATRIS+/ET FILII +ET/SPIRITUS/+SANCTI/AMEN. Sur le segment EGO TE figurent les inscriptions suivantes permettant l'attribution et la datation du couvercle : Entw. J. Asal Mrth. Al / 1923 F. Stiansen Fbg/B."
