Scene Description: Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM67000542]: "En 1496-1497, l'oeuvre Saint-Georges commande un retable au sculpteur originaire de Haguenau Veit Wagner (corps central) et au peintre haguenovien Diebold Martin (volets). La partie sculptée ayant disparu, le retable actuel comprend, outre les volets peints par Martin, un Christ en gloire et un saint Jean-Baptiste sculptés du 15e siècle d'origine franconienne (prédelle), une Vierge, un Jugement dernier, des rinceaux et autres ornements réalisés probablement au 19e siècle par un sculpteur de Francfort."
