Font Notes:
The present font is made of multi-coloured veined marble; it consists of a shallow moulded polygonal basin and a round pedestal base splaying towards the bottom. It has a wooden cover of the rim-buffet type common in the churches of this area, dome top and cross finial; the font is modern. There is a modern stoup by the west entranceway; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with mouldings and gadroons, raised on a baluster-shaped pedestal base; it is a late work, 17th- or 18th-century. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
