Capital-shaped limestone baptismal font listed in Palissy [ref.: PM60001400]: "Les fonts baptismaux [calcaire] se composent d'un socle de plan octogonal, alternant petits et grands côtés, d'une base moulurée d'un tore aplati et d'un tore circulaire, d'un épais support central de forme circulaire et d'une cuve tronconique [...] mauvais état [...] Ragréages anciens au plâtre. Salpêtre [...] Fonts baptismaux datés d'après leur décor du 1er quart du 13e siècle". The oddest thing about this font is its octagonal inner basin, especially given its square outer shape; the lower base is square with chamfered corners, which makes it look octagonal; there is evidence of anchoring spots in the upper rim but there is no font cover present.
