Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM60000890]: "Les fonts baptismaux sont en pierre taillée avec une cuve doublée d'une feuille de plomb martelée. Ils se composent d'une cuve octogonale profilée en doucine posée sur un support constitué d'un court fût cantonné de quatre colonnettes s'élevant sur un socle carré. L'intérieur de la cuve a été divisé en deux compartiments, le plus grand des deux ayant été doublé en plomb [...] La forme du support à quatre colonnettes groupées autour d'un fût central est, d'après Arcisse de Caumont, caractéristique des 11e et 12e siècles. A partir du 13e siècle, les supports commencent à devenir indépendants les uns des autres. La forme de la cuve de Hadancourt interdit de lui assigner une date aussi haute que le 11e siècle ; en revanche, une datation dans le courant du 12e siècle est probable. La forme de ces fonts reste pourtant assez inhabituelle, la cuve octogonale, de très grandes dimensions, n'étant pas centrée sur son support." [NB: the partition of the inner basin and lead lining would not be original and must have been done at a later date].
