Scene Description: Source caption: "Chapiteau à décor de masque de lion, Nord de la France, vers 1150, Saint-Omer, musée de l’hôtel Sandelin, inv. 3208 [...] Ce chapiteau portant sur chacune de ses faces un décor de masque de lion tenant dans sa gueule des palmettes végétales date probablement du milieu du 12e siècle. Le motif décoratif utilisé rappelle les décors des livres produits à l’abbaye de Saint-Bertin à la même période et témoigne des échanges entre les artistes à la période médiévale."
