A composite holy-water stoup located in the south transept is listed in Palissy [ref.: IM62002210]: "bénitier [...] calcaire [...] Base carrée, socle cylindrique. La colonne ronde et la cuve est en forme de chapiteau octogonal tronqué. Cuve en marbre noir [...] Base et socle sont anciens [13e siècle (?)], utilisés en réemploi. Cuve moderne (19e siècle ?)." The present (?) baptismal font of this church is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM62001962] as an 18th-century font originally from the church of Sainte-Aldegonde: "Fonts baptismaux. Marbre polychrome ; laiton (couvercle). XVIIIe siècle. Hauteur : 1,12 m. Diamètre extérieur de la cuve : 0,63 m. Au centre de la chapelle. [...] Composé de quatre assises. Cuve ovale en marbre veiné brun. Pied de section carrée à forme pyramidale inversée. Socle de section carrée à deux gradins en pierre de Tournai en en marbre veiné brun. Couvercle en laiton à décor moulé, surmonté d'un globe de même matériau [...] Pied à décor de trois cannelures. Décor du soutien de la cuve à feuilles d'acanthe. Cuve à godrons. Petites feuilles sur le couvercle [...] 18e siècle [...] Epoque Louis XVI ?Provient de l'ancienne église Sainte-Aldegonde de Saint-Omer." Additionally the basin of a baptismal font of the 18th century listed in Palissy [ref.: IM62002245]: "fonts baptismaux [...] Cuve de fonts baptismaux en marbre veiné brun. Format octogonal, cuve circulaire [...] 18e siècle (?) [...] L'objet se trouvait autrefois dans le bas-côté nord." This object is actually just the basin of a font [h = 25 ; d = 80] damaged and disused, in the stone repository of the cathedral. A 19th-century holy-water stoup wall-mounted in the vestibule of the sacristy here is also listed in Palissy [ref.: IM62002254]. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 12th-century church here]
