Baptismal font noted and illustrated in SIPA [IPA.0001586] [www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=1586] [accessed 24 May 2017]: "Pia baptismal em forma de cálice com gomos." The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with broad ribs all around, the top of the ribs framed in round arch-heads, a design often found in medieval fonts of this area; the upper rim of the basin has had a large notch cut off to accommodate the lock of an early cover; raised on a squat round base.
