Church Notes: the date of the original church is unknown, perhaps in the 9th or 10thC; the present remains, the old chancel, is 13thC; a new church was consecrated in 1873, but the chancel of the old one was salvaged.
The baptismal font in the 19th-century church is modern [NB: we have no information on the font of the 13th-century church here].
