view of font - fragment
Scene Description: the lower of the two superimposed objects in the photograph appears to be a fragment of the basin of a stone baptismal font, quadrangular at the top, to round at the bottom of the underbowl; the upper rim of this fragment shows a metal staple in it, likely an anchoring for its font cover; between the juman heads visible on the underbowl corners, there are deeply-carved foliage motifs.
