Eglises de Corrèze [http://eglises.de.correze.online.fr/] [accessed 3 March 2017] informs that the original parish church in Queyssac-Haut was demolished in 1852 and re-built soon thereafter as the present church; the present font dates from the earlier church: " Une cuve baptismale romane est l’élément le plus ancien du mobilier". The object is a baseless monolithic tub, cylindrical in shape, decorated with two rope mouldings between which are a number of half-ball motifs, all in high relief. There is damage to several areas of the upper basin, one of which has a large chunk missing, perhaps related to earlier metal font hardware. No cover present.
