This object, a stone font-like vessel, located at the northwest corner of the nave, is mentioned in the Inventaire général du patrimoine culturel, le mobilier de l'église paroissiale Saint-Martin, Pradines [Palissy ref.: IM19001283] recorded in 1977; the source refers to it as a hollowed out stone re-used as font; it appears of a general rounded shape, with considerable damage around the upper end of the basin. It is one of four vessels in this church at the time.
