Luc de Goustine, of the Association Saint-Pierre du Moustier-Ventadour, writes in his 30 November 2003 description of this church [www.ventadour.net/cariboost_files/EgliseStPierre.pdf] [accessed 26 February 2017]: "deux autres chapiteaux sculptés, XIe-XIIe s., ont été déposés et recreusés en bénitiers, à droite de l’entrée principale et à gauche de la porte sud"; the description does not mention a font in it. This stoup is listed in Palissy [ref.: IM19000596] as having been re-cycled from a 16th-century capital of local production; it bears a palmette on each of the three visible sides.
