A wall-mounted stone vessel is illustrated in the web site of the Groupement paroissial de CATUS [http://paroissedecatus.eklablog.fr/l-eglise-de-maussac-a23416516] [accessed 20 February 2017]; it is round in shape, roughly cylindrical, with an arcade of pointed arches containing a number of crosses and at least one figure; the side of the basin against the wall shows a partial arch and motif (?) in it, which suggests it was not originally designed to be thus located. [NB: we have not been able to find a listing for this vessel in the Palissy database]. There is a second object of interest in the nave of this church, against the north wall; a quadrangular stone object resembling a Roman votive altar [cf. ImagesArea]; we have no further details of its origin or use.
