The entry for this church in the site of the Mairie of Lapleau [www.mairiedelapleau-correze.net/fr/information/18086/eglise-st-etienne-lapleau] [accessed 16 February 2017] reports that the font from the ancient [12th-century] church was retained and installed in the new late-19th century church in 1890: "Un baptistère a été conservé et est utilisé dans l’église actuelle". [NB we have no further details of this font at present].
