Palissy [ref.: IM47003533] refers to "objets mobiliers" in this church included in bishop Claude Joly's inventory of 1668; among the objects noted is a baptismal font here with a locked cover that has a top surface "hérissé de pointes", a detail that occassionally appears on old font covers, presumably to avoid people [children?] sitting or being placed on them; the Palissy entry gives no further details of the font.
