A wall mounted granite stoup decorated with a human face or mask is described in several sources, including Palissy [ref.: PM19000946], as "fonts baptismaux", an indirect reference in the listing of a "placard-clôture des fonts baptismaux", a retable-like wooden work that hangs above a wall-mounted granite stoup. We have found no other reference to the real baptismal font of the medieval church here.
