Palissy [ref.: IM19000619] lists and illustrates a stone object as a baptismal font of pink granite from the late 17th century: "fonts baptismaux [...] granite (rose) [...] ornementation (godron) [...] 2e moitié 17e siècle"; the object consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with broad irregular ribs all around, a drain hole on the side of the underbowl, which ends in a thick roll moulding, raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base. Another font [or stoup?] of stone, apparently granite, in this church consists of a round tapering basin on a short circular base, both totally plain; there seems to be some evidence of damage to the upper rim perhaps indicative of cover hardware, but there is no cover present now [source: illustration in www.mesvoyagesenfrance.com/D19/rosiers.html [accessed 9 February 2017] -- download disabled]]. This type of font/stoup is difficult to date but may very well be medieval.
