Font Notes:
Baptismal font listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: IM19000425]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] granite [...] probablement de fabrication locale [...] 16è ou 17è siècle [...] Dans la chapelle Sud de la 2è travée". The monolithic font is a totally plain basin, octagonal both inside and out, tapering in from about its middle, and resting directly on the ground; there is some damage to the upper sides that would suggest the presence of an earlier cover but there is no cover present at the time the photograph was talen in 1985. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 12th-century church here].
